Send an invitation

  1. 1
    Confirm the email address

The invitation must go to the email address the client uses in Habit of Living.

  2. 2
    Choose Send invitation

Send from the client record when an invitation was not sent during setup.

  3. 3
    Wait for client action

The client creates or opens an account and chooses whether to accept the connection.

Use the connection state

  • Pending means the invitation has not been accepted. Use Remind user when another email is appropriate.
  • Connected means the client accepted and provider features can use information the client shares.
  • Declined or removed means the connection is not active. Discuss the client’s preference before sending a new invitation.

If the email does not arrive

  • Check spelling and confirm the client is viewing the correct inbox.
  • Ask the client to check spam, promotions, or organizational email filtering.
  • Avoid repeated reminders in a short period. Contact support if delivery continues to fail.
