Due dates and recurring assignments
Choose one-time timing or Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, and Monthly recurrence.
Choose one-time or recurring
- Use a due date when the activity should be completed once.
- Use Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, or Monthly recurrence when repeated practice is appropriate.
- Editing the due date clears recurrence; choosing recurrence replaces the one-time date in the editor.
Set realistic timing
- Agree on the cadence with the client and consider workload, access, and competing responsibilities.
- Explain what completion means for a repeated activity.
- Review the next due date after a recurring activity is completed.
Change the schedule
Open the assignment details, choose Edit, update the due date or recurrence, and save. Confirm the new timing is visible before closing the plan.
Keep in mind
Use direct contact when a care or safety follow-up needs a personal response.
